PHILIPPINES TO HOST THE 7th BIMP-EAGA FRIENDSHIP GAMES

The Philippines will host the 7th Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Areas (BIMP-EAGA) Friendship Games on 08-11 December 2012.

 

SOCSARGEN Region (Provinces of South Cotabato, Sarangani and General Santos City) will be the venue of this year’s edition of the Games, with seven sports to be contested—Athletics, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Pencak Silat (artistic) Sepak Takraw, Swimming and Table Tennis. A friendly golf tournament will also be conducted for the Chefs de Mission, Assistant Chefs de Mission and Sports Ministers who will attend said Friendship Games.
